From Narbonne to Nimes, the appellation
contrôlée of Coteaux du Languedoc
includes, in addition to 3 vintages AOC Saint-Chinian, Faugères
and Clairette of Languedoc, 12 soils very varied with remarkable
characters. They are Cabrières, les Coteaux de
la Méjanelle, les Coteaux de Saint-Christol, les Coteaux
de Vérargues, La Clape, Montpeyroux, Picpoul-de-Pinet,
Pic-Saint-Loup, Quatourze, Saint-Drézéry, Saint-Georges-d'Orques
et Saint-Saturnin.

The red wines are structured , generous , framed
well , with the fine nose , subtle and aromatic and with the high
dress in colors and brightness . The rosy ones are gouleyants
, flexible and fruity . The white are brilliant and fruity with
wish to accompany fish and shells.
AOC since 1985, the reds and the rosy ones are elaborate mainly
starting from the type of vines Carignan, Grenache, Lladoner pelut,
Cinsault and Syrah.
For the white, the principal type of vines are the grenache, the
pale one, the bourboulenc and naturally the picpoul.
