The Languedoc-Roussillon region produces the largest volume of wine in the country. It is home to a wide variety of wines of ever increasing quality thanks to the area’s twenty-year history of hard work, research and the will to always improve.

The region is ideally located for cultivating the vine and all types of wine are found here : from fine to full-bodied, light to intoxicating, and hints of pastel to the deepest garnets.

Our site will help you to get to know both Appellations d’Origines Controlées and varietal wines using maps and photographs showing the different characteristics of the region.

Let us lead you through the vines under the heat of the sun and to the chirping of the cicadas.

Various maps will show you the boundaries of each appellation region. We have tried to define and explain in simple terms the array of colours, aromas and tastes characteristic of each area and each grape variety.
